A number of NSWIS athletes have won medals over the weekend at the 2014 Omnium, Para-Cycling and Madison National Championships in Melbourne.

The results were headlined by Ashlee Ankudinoff and Josie Talbot, who each won multiple medals. Ankudinoff picked up bronze in the women’s omnium, with Talbot winning gold in the junior women’s omnium, before the duo combined to take silver in the women’s madison.

In the men’s events Scott Law was the standout achiever, winning silver in the men’s omnium, with his brother Jackson taking bronze in the men’s scratch race. Mitchell Bullen finished sixth in the men’s sprint and eighth in the men’s keirin, while Jack Edwards achieved a fifth place finish in the junior men’s omnium.

Paralympians Alexandra Green and Jayme Richardson were also in action; Green taking silver in the women’s C4 time trial and C4 women’s pursuit, and Richardson winning the women’s C1 time trial and C1 pursuit.
