Back-to-back podiums for Jessica Fox and Lucien Delfour keeps momentum high for the Australian Canoe Slalom team heading into World Cup 3 in Prague this weekend.

Before a break in the international season, the world’s best will battle it out at World Cup 3 in Prague from Friday 27 June through to Sunday 29 June.

This World Cup will feature an exclusive Grand Prix format on Friday, with paddlers taking on an exciting, shorter course. Regular World Cup racing will take place on Saturday (Canoe and Kayak) and Sunday (Kayak Cross).

Paris 2024 Olympian Tim Anderson is hoping to produce quality paddling in the men’s kayak events in Prague.

“Prague is a classic course,” said Anderson,, pictured above. “There is always a great atmosphere there.”

With World Cup 3 being one step closer to the ICF Slalom World Championships in Penrith in September, Anderson is pushing to be in fighting form for the pinnacle event on home soil.

“It’s really special to have a home World Championship. Very few slalom paddlers get to have that opportunity,” said Anderson.

The World Cup 3 program will start with the Grand Prix heats and finals on Friday, before the men’s and women’s Canoe and Kayak Heats and Finals on Saturday, and finish with the Kayak Cross events on Sunday.

The finals of the 2025 ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup series will be broadcast LIVE on Fox Sports Australia and Kayo Sports.
