The Oceania Cup comprises a best-of-three match series against New Zealand for both the Kookaburras and the Hockeyroos, and doubles as the qualifiers for Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

The Aussie teams that will attempt to achieve qualification for the Olympics have both been announced, and compete in the Oceania Cup which takes place in Rockhampton from 5-8 September 2019.

Four male and four female athletes from the NSW Institute of Sport have been named in the squads that will take on New Zealand.
