Wheelchair track & road racer Angela Ballard has won a swag of medals over the weekend at the 2014 Swiss Nationals in Nottwil, Switzerland.

Ballard made a clean sweep of the women’s T53 100m, 200m and 400m events at the event, before adding silver in the 800m and a ninth place finish in the 1500m to go with the medals.

Joining Ballard on the medal dais was fellow NSWIS athlete Rosemary Little, who claimed silver medals in the women’s T34 100m, 200m, 400m and 800m events, with the winning times in the 100m and 200m both being new world records.

NSWIS athlete Kurt Fearnley had his results highlighted by a fourth place finish in the men’s T54 5000m, while fellow NSWIS athlete Richard Nicholson finished with sixth place finishes in the men’s T54 800m and 1500m events.
