NSWIS athlete Ryley Batt has secured a spot at his third Paralympic Games after the announcement of the men’s wheelchair rugby team.

Batt, who is widely regarded as the world’s best in the sport of ‘murderball’, will headline a tough group of athletes looking to secure Australia’s first wheelchair rugby gold in London.

“I’m pretty excited but we’re still not there yet. We still have work to do before the Games so at the moment I’m just sitting back watching the younger guys get excited about it," Batt said.

“It’s going to be an amazing experience. We have set our sights very high."

The Paralympic Games get underway on August 29 2012.
