NSWIS snowboarder Belle Brockhoff won her second silver of the season during a World Cup double header in Switzerland.

Competing in the first of two women’s snowboard cross events, Brockhoff won her quarter final before finishing third in the semi final to secure a spot in the race for the medals.

Another strong performance saw her finish second behind Bulgaria’s Alexandra Jekova to win silver just two weeks after notching the same result in Russia.

Brockhoff followed up her silver with a seventh place finish in the second World Cup event the following day.

Fellow NSWIS athlete Alex Pullin finished sixth in the second men’s World Cup event after being eliminated in the eight finals, while Matthew Thomas placed 16th in the first event of the weekend.

Elsewhere, Sami Kennedy-Sim finished her season with a seventh place finish in the women’s ski cross World Cup event in Switzerland.

The successful end to the season saw Kennedy-Sim finish 14th overall in the world rankings.
