Six NSWIS athletes have been selected for the Australian team competing at the 2013 UCI Road Cycling World Championships in Florence, Italy.

Selected by Brad McGee in his role as Cycling Australia’s road cycling coordinator, the NSWIS selections are headlined by Lachlan Morton in the men’s elite team, and Amanda Spratt and Lauren Kitchen in the women’s elite team.

Also selected on the 45-strong Australian squad are rising NSWIS stars Caleb Ewan, Aaron Donnelly and Sam Spokes in the under-23 men’s division.

The 2013 UCI Road Cycling World Championships take place in Florence, Italy from September 22-29.
