NSWIS divers Esther Qin and Melissa Wu have both won bronze medals at the FINA Diving World Cup in Rio.

Qin joined compatriot Samantha Mills in the women’s 3m synchro as the duo scored 307.50 points to finish behind China and Canada and secure bronze.

Fellow NSWIS athlete Wu won a medal of the same colour in the women’s 10m platform, totalling 380.50 points en route to bronze behind two Chinese competitors.

Wu and fellow NSWIS athlete Brittany Broben also combined to finish eighth in the women’s 10m synchro.

The World Cup finishes on 24 February, with Qin still to contest the women’s 3m springboard.
