The FINA World Junior Diving Championships begin in Kazan, Russia, today and athletes Jade Sweeney and Corey Jenkins, as well as coach Vyninka Arlow represent the NSWIS.

Sweeney will dive from the platform, while Jenkins has a busier program, taking to the boards in the 3-metre as well as coming off the platform.

The pair will form part of Australia’s strong squad that includes some of the most exciting 15 and 14-year-olds in the country, competing in Group B competition in Kazan.

Australia will be looking to build on the two gold, one silver and three bronze medals it won at the last World Junior Diving Championships in Penza, Russia in 2014.
