NSWIS rower Erik Horrie has continued to assert his dominance on the rowing world by winning two gold medals over the weekend in Italy.

Horrie’s first gold came in the men’s arms and shoulders single scull at the 2014 International Para-Rowing Regatta, before backing up the following day to win gold in the same discipline at the INAS International Rowing Regatta.

Horrie and his coach Jason Baker have formed a formidable duo in the recent years, having won Paralympic silver in 2012 and world championship gold in 2013.

Horrie will defend his world title at this year’s World Rowing Championships in the Netherlands from 24-31 August 2014.
