NSW Institute of Sport diver and Olympian Esther Qin has placed second in the Women’s 3m Springboard at the latest FINA Diving Grand Prix.

Taking place in Canada, Qin claimed the silver medal with a score of 325.95, behind eventual winner Canadian Jennifer Abel who finished on 334.55 points.

The NSWIS athlete then secured her second silver of the competition, this time with Georgia Sheehan in the Women’s 3m Synchronised Springboard event.

Fellow Aussie and NSW Institute of Sport Scholarship Holder Melissa Wu also claimed a medal at the Grand Prix, placing third in the Women’s 10m Platform.
