NSWIS cyclist Caleb Ewan has continued his meteoric rise in the sport by notching Australia’s first ever Nations Cup victory.

Ewan and four compatriots contested the event in north west France that saw 26 teams represent 30 nations, with the rising star involved in a crash just 13km from the end.

After regouping Ewan moved towards the front of the lead group before making a charge to the line, winning in a sprint finish over competitors from Belgium and Great Britain.
