NSWIS canoe slalom athlete Jessica Fox continued her strong world cup form by winning gold at the second event in Germany.

Following a C1 silver medal at the Cardiff event, Fox went one better in Augsburg by winning gold despite touching two gates on her final run.

Fox finished ahead of Mallory Franklin of Great Britain, with fellow NSWIS athletes Rosalyn Lawrence and Alison Borrows finishing sixth and ninth, respectively.

Fox then finished 12th in the women’s K1, the event in which she won silver in London, with Lawrence finishing 16th.

The men’s events saw NSWIS athletes Lucien Delfour and Joey Croft finishing the semi-final of the men’s K1 in16th and 39th position, respectively, with Ethan Hodson ending his men’s C2 campaign in 13th in the semi-final.
