Canoe slalom paddler Jessica Fox claimed two gold medals at the 2013 Oceania Canoe Slalom Championships, with several fellow NSWIS athletes also taking to the podium.

Fox triumphed in the women’s K1, the same event in which she won silver at the 2012 London Olympic Games, before backing up to win gold in the women’s C1.

Fellow NSWIS athlete Rosalyn Lawrence picked up silver in both the women’s K1 and C1, while Fox’s younger sister Noemie won bronze in the women’s C1.

The men’s races were highlighted by NSWIS athlete Lucien Delfour claiming gold in the men’s K1, defeating former world champion Fabian Doerfler.

The men’s C1 event concluded the championships, with NSWIS athlete Ian Borrows taking bronze.
