The ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup continued over the weekend, with NSWIS athlete Jessica Fox highlighting the results in Poland.

Fox won gold in the women’s C1 to complement the silver medals she won in the C1 and K1 last week in Prague. The Olympic silver medallist’s raw time of 97.19 in the final was adjusted to 103.19 after penalties, but still good enough to triumph by over three seconds.

Fellow NSWIS athlete Rosalyn Lawrence finished ninth in the same event, while Lucien Delfour claimed seventh spot in the men’s K1.

The World Cup now moves to Liptovsky Mikulas, Slovakia from 3-5 July.
