Gold for Fricker on the platform in Germany

Diver Sam Fricker has won gold at the Youth International Diving Meet in Dresden, Germany.

The NSW Institute of Sport junior athlete claimed top spot in the Boys 10m Platform Group A Final on the final day of competition.

Five NSWIS athletes represented Diving Australia at the meet, along with coaches Emma Lynch and Thomas Rickards and fellow Australian athletes:

• Sam Fricker

The tour, facilitated by Diving Australia, gives junior Australian athletes valuable insights into international competition as well as first-hand experience competing against future world’s best diving athletes.
