NSWIS athlete Matthew Graham won the second medal of his World Cup season over the weekend with a solid performance in Val St Come, Canada.

The freestyle moguls skier put in a consistent performance throughout the day before securing silver with a score of 85.18 points, just over three points shy of the gold medal won by Canada’s Mikael Kingsbury.

Graham’s latest result adds to the silver he won a month ago at the Deer Valley, USA and places him fourth on the rankings list, with his final event to come in Japan at the end of the month.

Elsewhere, ski cross athletes Sami Kennedy-Sim and Anton Grimus continued their World Cup campaigns in Switzerland.

Kennedy-Sim highlighted the results from the NSWIS duo, finishing eighth in the women’s event, while Grimus took 17th place in the men’s event. Kennedy-Sim and Grimus are now ranked 12th and 21st respectively.
