NSWIS athlete Anton Grimus closed his ski cross season earlier today with a 32nd place finish at a World Cup event in Germany.

After missing the finals on the first day of competition, Grimusqualified in 27th place for the finals on day two, but could not overcome his competitors in the first race down the mountain and finished fourth to end his season ranked 25th overall in the World Cup standings.

Fellow NSWIS athlete Sami Kennedy-Sim finished 15th in the women’s ski cross on the first day of competition, but did not compete on day two after aggravating a back injury.

Kennedy-Sim is aiming to compete in the final two World Cup events of the season in Megeve, France on March 13 and 14.
