Slopestyle skier Russ Henshaw has added another bronze to his medal tally from the 2013/14 season following another podium performance in Colorado, USA.

Henshaw posted scores of 80.40, 89.20 and 87.80 to take bronze just days after winning a medal of the same colour at the prestigious Dew Tour, with the points rocketing the Olympic hopeful up to second in the world rankings.

Henshaw will now focus on learning new tricks in training and competing at the Winter X-Games in the coming weeks ahead of the Olympic qualification cut-off date of January 20.

Fellow NSWIS athletes Katya Crema, Jenny Owens, Sami Kennedy-Sim, Anton Grimus and Scott Kneller were also in action over the weekend, with all five athletes competing at two world cup events in Italy.

In the first women’s event, Crema, Owns and Kennedy-Sim finished 21st, 33rd and 36th, respectively, while in the men’s Grimus and Kneller finished in 38th and 44th.

The second day of racing saw Kennedy-Sim notch a 27th place finish, with Crema and Owens in 34th and 36th, while Grimus finished 23rd in the men’s.
