Eight NSWIS athletes have been selected on the 2013 Australian women’s hockey team squad, including five athletes from the 2012 Olympic team.

Headlining the selections is Casey Eastham, who is joined by fellow London Olympians Toni Cronk, Jade Close, Kate Jenner and Emily Smith. The Olympic quintet is joined by fellow NSWIS athletes Emily Hurtz, Jade Warrender and Kellie White.

To add to the Hockeyroos selections, five NSWIS hockey players have been selected on the Australian team to contest the upcoming 2012 Super Series Hockey 9s tournament.

Eastham and Jenner secured selection on the Australian team, while Smith, Lily Brazel and Mariah Williams will contest the series as members of the Australian under-21 team.

The super series takes place in Perth from November 22-25.
