Jakara Anthony has continued her excellent current form, winning gold at the Lake Placid World Cup event in the USA.

The NSWIS moguls skier scored 78.76 to secure her first World Cup win, beating France’s Perrine Laffont and USA’s Tess Johnson.

It’s the second World Cup podium finish for the 20 year old, who won silver late last year in Thaiwoo, China.

Fellow NSWIS athlete Matt Graham took out bronze in the men’s event, behind France’s Benjamin Cavet and Sweden’s Walter Wallberg.
