Figure skater Cheltzie Lee has finished 21st at the 2011 World Figure Skating Championships in Moscow, with the event being relocated from Tokyo due to the recent natural disasters.

Lee advanced to the free skating session of the championships after posting 48.20 points in the short program. The 2010 Winter Olympian then scored 85.45 points in the free skate to finish 21st overall.

Lee was a mere four spots outside her previous best of 17th at a world championships, recorded last year in Turin.

NSWIS skaters Danielle O’Brien and Greg Merriman were unable to qualify for the short dancing session of the ice dancing discipline.
