Seven NSWIS track & field athletes have been selected for the 2015 Summer Universiade later this year.

The seven-strong contingent is highlighted by Commonwealth Games representatives Nicholas Hough (110m hurdles), Sophie Stanwell (heptathlon) and Madeline Heiner (3000m steeplechase, 5000m), who all finished fourth in their respective events at the Glasgow Games last year.

The Commonwealth trio is joined in Korea by fellow NSWIS athletes Angus Armstrong (pole vault), Joshua Ralph (4x400m relay), Anneliese Rubie (400m) and Nicola McDermott (high jump).

In addition to Universiade selection, both Ralph (4x800m/distance medley) and Rubie (4x400m relay) have been selected for the Australian team competing at the 2015 IAAF World Relay Championships in Nassau, Bahamas.

The 2015 Summer Universide takes place in Gwangju, Korea from July 3-14.
