NSWIS athletes have enjoyed another golden weekend on the slopes, with two more World Cup golds.

Britt Cox continued her superb form to win her fourth World Cup gold of the season in Deer Park, Utah. The win keeps Cox at number one in the world with the PyeongChang Winter Olympics just over a year away.

Cox said, “I didn’t think it was going to pan out this way this season, I’ve just been focused on every event that’s coming but it’s awesome to win again.”

There was further NSWIS success in the form of Belle Brockhoff in the snowboard cross. Brockhoff won her second World Cup gold of the season in Bulgaria – confirming her position as number one in the world.

“I’m feeling really happy about today, I had a few good runs and this time there were less mistakes than I usually put in,” Brockhoff said.

It was also a great weekend for NSWIS athlete Brodie Summers who achieved a podium finish for the first time in his career with Moguls bronze in Deer Park. Summers said, “I’m so stoked right now, I was just having so much fun tonight and now I’m really on top of the world.”
