Australia’s summer of track cycling opened in style with the 2019 Para Cycling National Championships at the DISC Velodrome in Melbourne.

NSWIS athletes Amanda Reid and Gordon Allan performed outstandingly for their state to take wins in their categories across the Time Trial and Individual Pursuit events.

In a time of 40.138 second, Reid took out the C2 Women’s Para Cycling Time Trial and then also won the C2 Women’s Para Cycling Individual Pursuit.

20 year old Gordon Allan secured the national crown for New South Wales in the C2 Men’s Para Cycling Time Trial.
