Three NSWIS athletes have been selected on the Australian team to contest the 2013 World University Games in Russia.

Following the recent Australian swimming championships, NSWIS athletes Andrew Abood, Daniel Arnamnart and Melissa Mitchell secured selection on the 25-strong team.

Arnamnart headlines selections having represented Australia at the 2012 London Olympic Games, with Abood being selected after strong performances as part of the recently established NSWIS/Sydney Uni Sport & Fitness Program of Excellence.

NSWIS/SUSF Program of Excellence Head Coach Grant Stoelwinder will lead the team to Russia as head coach, with NSWIS/SUSF Senior Coach Scott Talbot named as an assistant coach for the Australian team.
