NSWIS hockey player Flynn Ogilvie has been named as a late addition to the Australian men’s hockey team, The Kookaburras, for their impending Champions Trophy Tournament that runs from June 10-17.

The Kookaburras have five fixtures coming up with their first game against recent opponents Great Britain, who they beat 5-1 in the final game of their three-game test series in Perth.

Ogilvie was a team member for the test series in Perth, and while not initially named for the Champions Trophy, he has been drafted into the side to replace Dylan Wotherspoon who has been ruled out due to a recurring hamstring injury.

Following their first encounter with Great Britain the Kookaburras will verse Korea, followed by Germany, Belgium and India.

Ogilvie takes the NSWIS representation on the national team to six players with Tom Craig, Matthew Dawson, Blake Govers, Simon Orchard and Tristan White already named.
