Here we take a look at some of our brightest prospects for success in South Korea:

NSWIS moguls skiers have been on top of the world over the last few months. The stand out of these performance has to be Britt Cox who has appeared on five podiums from six World Cup events, taking gold on four occasions, and cementing her world number one position. In the men’s event Matt Graham won his second World Cup title in Calgary last month, and Brodie Summers made his first ever podium last week.

In Snowboard Cross Belle Brockhoff leads NSWIS hopes – winning two World Cup golds this season and also currently sitting at number one in the world. In the men’s event two time Olympian Alex ‘Chumpy’ Pullin, former X Games champion Jarryd Hughes, and Sochi Olympian Cam Bolton will all be hoping for strong performances.

NSWIS athletes in the Snowboard Half-Pipe include Kent Callister who will be hoping to build on his surprise 9th place in Sochi, alongside former World Champion Nathan Johnstone. In the women’s event Jess Rich will be hopeful of Olympic success.

Russ Henshaw has recently returned from over a year of injury woe to record two podium World Cup finishes in the Slopestyle Ski. In the Alpine Ski event Greta Small will be hoping to build on her personal best FIS performance last month.

There is still a year to go until the 23rd Winter Games kicks off, and you can keep up on all the #TeamNSWIS athlete preparations on this website and on social media.
