Equestrian – Eventing: Our equestrian riders Stuart Tinney and Shane Rose are no strangers to the Olympic Games with the former having won gold 16 years ago at the Sydney Games.…to SEE ABOUT our eventers click here.

Hockey: Australia has a proud and successful history in both men’s and women’s hockey, with NSWIS athletes playing their role. In Rio we will have five members of Australia’s women’s team and three members of the men’s team.…to FIND OUT ABOUT our hockey players click here.

Sailing: Nathan Outteridge and teammate Iain Jensen will defend their 49er gold medal in Rio, where they will be joined by two other NSWIS sailors.…to READ ABOUT our sailors click here.

Shooting: The NSWIS has contributed five of Australia’s strong 18 athlete shooting contingent in Rio and there are several experienced medal contenders amongst them. Warren Potent will shoot at his fifth Olympics, while Daniel Repacholi takes aim at his fourth. James Willett is the reigning double trap World Cup champ and one of the favourites for gold on Rio.…to GET TO KNOW our shooters click here.

Water Polo: Incredibly NSWIS athletes make up well over half of the 26 athletes across both the men’s and women’s water polo teams representing Australia in Rio.
