NSWIS snowboarder Alex Pullin has continued his charge towards the 2014 Sochi Olympic Winter Games with another excellent display at the Blue Mountain world cup over the weekend.

Competing in the men’s snowboard cross, Pullin won silver to back up last week’s world championship gold medal. By making the final Pullin became the only rider this season to win through to the medal race in every event he’s contested, eventually taking silver to secure the number one ranking on the world cup circuit.

Fellow NSWIS athlete Cam Bolton finished 17th, Jarryd Hughes finished 18th, and Belle Brockhoff finished 16th in the women’s snowboard cross.

Elsewhere, another installment of the moguls world cup took place in Deer Valley, USA, with several NSWIS athletes competing.

Rising star Britteny Cox continued her run of good form with a 10th place finish in the women’s freestyle moguls, Matthew Graham posted a new world cup personal best by finishing 10th in the men’s freestyle moguls, and Sam Hall finished 18th in the men’s dual moguls.
