Snowboarder Alex Pullin won World Cup gold in Switzerland over the weekend, with his fellow NSWIS riders also faring well on the slopes.

Two rounds of the World Cup took place in Veysonnaz to make up for events cancelled earlier in the season, with Pullin triumphing in the men’s snowboard cross on the second day of racing after being disqualified in the first event.

The two-time world champion won every race he competed in to secure gold, with fellow NSWIS athlete Jarryd Hughes finishing fourth on day two to complement his eighth place finish from day one.

Belle Brockhoff also record two top-10s, finishing sixth on both days in the women’s snowboard cross.
