NSWIS sailors Liesl Tesch and Daniel Fitzgibbon have continued their winning ways by triumphing at the Sailing World Cup in Melbourne over the weekend.

Just one week on from world championship success, Tesch and Fitzgibbon once again combined to take gold in the SKUD18 class at the World Cup.

The duo won four of seven races and finished second three times to cap another memorable victory, finishing six points clear of silver medallists Great Britain.

Fellow NSWIS athlete Jonathan Harris was also on the podium after he took gold alongside Colin Harris and Russell Boaden in the sonar class.

The trio took silver at last week’s world championships before going one better this week, taking home their second World Cup title for the year after triumphing in Weymouth in June.
