Rower James Chapman continued to impress in the men’s coxless four over the weekend at the Lucerne world cup, with the Australian foursome taking silver.

Chapman was joined by fellow Australians Joshua Dunkley-Smith, Drew Ginn and Will Lockwood in the event as the crew missed out on gold at the hands of Great Britain.

The race was neck and neck until the final 200m before Great Britain showed their class, pulling away to win by 1.14 seconds.

Great Britain has dominated the event at recent Olympic Games, winning gold in 2000, 2004 and 2008, however the result in Lucerne will undoubtedly see the traditional rivalry heat up in London.
