The 2015 ICF Canoe Slalom season kicked off over the weekend with NSWIS paddler Jessica Fox in excellent form.

Fox opened her international season with silver medals in both the women’s K1 and C1 disciplines, missing out on gold by 0.13 and 0.92 seconds respectively.

The Olympic silver medallist then joined fellow NSWIS athletes Rosalyn Lawrence and Alison Borrows to win bronze in the women’s K1 team event.

The men’s events were highlighted by Lucien Delfour finishing fifth as part of the men’s K1 team, and Ethan Hodson and Ian Borrows combining to finish sixth in the men’s C1 team event.

The World Cup season now moves to Krakow, Poland for the second leg from 26-28 June.
