NSWIS cyclist Amanda Spratt claimed victory in the 2012 Australian Road Cycling Championships over the weekend, dominating her opponents by 45 seconds in her charge to the line.

Spratt made her move with 30km to go in the gruelling 102km course, attacking at the top of a climb with none of her competitors able to match the pace. From there Spratt never looked back, taking honours and capping a turbulent time in her career which saw several knee, hip and back injuries.
