NSWIS cyclist Amanda Spratt was in the medals over the weekend at the 2014 UCI Road Cycling World Championships, taking silver in the women’s team time trial.

Competing for team Orica-AIS, Spratt and the team, featuring compatriots Annette Edmonson and Melissa Hoskins, finished just 1:17.56 behind the gold medal winners, coming from third place at the second split to secure the silver.

Also competing at the world championships this week in Spain are Spratt’s fellow NSWIS athletes Caleb Ewan, Sam Spokes, Rachel Neylan and Annaleeza Hull.
