NSWIS paddler Lachlan Tame has continued his rapid improvement with a personal best finish on the world cup circuit.

Competing in the men’s K1 500m A final, Tame finished sixth in a strong field, crossing the line ahead of compatriot Ken Wallace.

The sixth place finish comes after a seventh place in the second world cup, and second in the B final at the first world cup.

Tame and the Australian team now head home for the world championship trials beginning in late June.
