Skier Toby Kane has clocked his fourth place finish in three days at the 2011 IPC Alpine Skiing World Championships in Italy, this time in the men’s super combined standing.

Kane, who finished fourth in the men’s downhill standing and men’s super-G standing, narrowly missed out on achieving a bronze medal by only 0.15 seconds to Swiss athlete Thomas Pfyl. Vincent Gauthier-Manuel claimed gold while Gerd Schoenfelder finished second.

It was a similar story yesterday for Kane as he finished behind all three competitors in the men’s super-G standing, missing out on a bronze medal to Pfyl by only 0.12 seconds.

The championships conclude on January 23.
