Three NSWIS cyclists have been selected for the Australian team to compete at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland.

The NSWIS selections are highlighted by scholarship holder Mark Renshaw, who has been selected on the road team. Renshaw is regarded as one of the world’s best lead-out riders and will provide plenty of experience to the youthful road team, which also includes young gun and fellow NSWIS athlete Caleb Ewan.

The third NSWIS selection comes in the men’s sprint events, with Commonwealth Games debutant Peter Lewis earning his place among a four-strong men’s sprint team.

The Commonwealth Games take place in Glasgow from 23 July – 3 August.
