The NSW Institute of Sport (NSWIS) in partnership with Cycling NSW is pleased to announce a Track Cycling Technical and Tactical Development Camp.

The camp will run from the 15th to the 17th of July from 9am till 5pm each day at Dunc Gray Velodrome, Bass Hill. The camp will target both Endurance and Sprint focussed athletes from the U17 to Elite level.

Limited places for the camp are available.

Selection to attend will be based on the below criteria. Riders are invited to submit their Expression of Interest addressing these criteria by 9:00pm Sunday, 23rd June 2019 using the form on the link below.

Eligibility

Selection will be open to

  • Registered members of Cycling NSW
  • Female and male competitors from the U17 to Elite Level

Selection Criteria

Priority will be given as per order below, until all positions filled:

  1. Athletes currently (or previously) in the NSWIS program, NSW State Track or Road Team or part of the Regional Academy pathway
  2. Previous cycling performances on track and / or road
  3. Athletes that are considered to be on an upward performance trajectory

The selection panel will consist of Tom Dawson (Cycling NSW State Development Coach), Katie Slattery (NSWIS Track Endurance Coach) and Sean Eadie (NSWIS Track Sprint Coach). Final selection is based on the above criteria assessed within the Expression of Interest and the panel has sole discretion.
