NSWIS cyclist Josie Talbot enjoyed great success over the weekend, winning two medals at the 2014 UCI Junior Track Cycling Championships in Korea.

The highlight of Talbot’s campaign so far came in the women’s team pursuit, where she joined three fellow Australians to clinch gold over Italy. The Australian quartet’s time of 4:37.891 was nearly three seconds faster than their rival and set a new Australian record in the process.

There was further success for Talbot in the women’s scratch as she won bronze behind competitors from Denmark and France.

The championships wrap up tomorrow, with Talbot eyeing more medals in the women’s points race.
