NSW Institute of Sport (NSWIS) scholarship holders have enjoyed their most successful start to a northern winter as the organisation pledges to Win Well while unveiling a nutrition program for emerging athletes.

 

Josie and Jakara Claim World Cup Medals

Two NSWIS scholarship holders added to the medal tally overnight in Europe with Josie Baff winning silver in the snowboard cross event in Cervinia, Italy and Jakara Anthony taking out the bronze medal in the dual moguls event in Alpe d’Huez in France.

Jakara’s Single Moguls Hat Trick

Jakara Anthony won her third straight world cup gold medal in the single moguls discipline this season and recorded the seventh world cup victory of her career.

NSWIS scholarship holder Shaun Champion has won gold as a heat swimmer in the men’s 4x100m medley relay at the 2022 FINA World Swimming Championships (25m) in Melbourne.
