The Australian Paralympic team has been named, with four NSWIS athletes among the 11 strong Australian contingent.

Headlining the selections is Melissa Perrine, who will make her second appearance at the Winter Paralympic Games after comping in Vancouver four years ago. Perrine will contest a number of alpine skiing events on the slopes of Sochi, including the slalom and giant slalom.

Joining Perrine in the team are her fellow NSWIS athletes Joany Badenhorst, Trent Milton and Ben Tudhope, who will all compete in the snowboard cross in the first time the event has appeared on the Winter Paralympic schedule.

The Institute would like to congratulate all four NSWIS athletes on their selection to the 2014 Australian Paralympic team.
