NSWIS swimmers have continued their success at the 2012 FINA Swimming World Cup, with more medals being won at the Tokyo leg of the event.

The two day meet opened with Robert Hurley and Laura Crockart each winning a silver medal, Hurley’s coming in the men’s 100m backstroke and Crockart’s in the women’s 800m freestyle. Fellow NSWIS athlete Kenneth To chimed in with a bronze medal in the men’s 100m freestyle on day one.

Day two saw Hurley on the medal dais once more, taking silver in the men’s 200m freestyle before finishing fourth in the men’s 50m backstroke. 

Crockart and To just missed out on the medals on day two, finishing fourth in the women’s 400m freestyle and men’s 200m individual medley, respectively.

The world cup now moves onto its final event in Singapore from November 10-11.
